打油诗·自述

我叫书生，江南好汉。其貌不扬，有色无胆。
个子不高，四肢很短。反应迟钝，动作很慢。
天天吃饭，缺乏锻炼。写写文章，憋出臭汗。
想做老大，没有靠山。找份工作，混个饭碗。
要私房钱，得等明年。欲发横财，希望渺然。
百无一用，只能长叹。老老实实，埋头苦干。
总有一天，会有老伴。如要娶妻，先去赚钱。
喝喝小酒，抽根破烟。所有梦想，一定实现！

Sonnet IX        
Written by exams.cn     
two people were by two trees, she and I:
she seemed to be doing geometry
though she was oft gazing at the blue sky
and i was absorbed in my poetry
then suddenly giggles came from her side
which intrigued me and interrupt'd my thought
i turned and saw her sweet smiles big and wide
and smiled back in a happy mood she brought
i thus desired to converse, but found no word
and moved around not knowing where to look
she opened her mouth, and yet no sound was heard
and she constantly opened and closed her book
was she the one that i had wished to find
or was i the one that she had in mind?
