三十年的道路

——纪念改革开放三十周年

三十年的道路  岁月匆匆
中华巨人迈开坚实的步伐
难忘1978年那血色黎明
从“文革”的噩梦中苏醒
高举“改革开放”的大旗
困境中崛起  奋进中新生
走到2008年辉煌灿烂，气势恢宏
是一次伟大的转折  光辉的历程

三十年的道路  凯歌声声
摸着石头过河  昂首前行
农村包产到户  国强民富
城市经济特区  国营民营

体制改革  一路高歌自主创新
港澳回归  一国两制普天同庆
海峡两岸“九二共识”实现沟通
办奧運 迎世博 一片和谐昌盛
三十年的道路  风雨兼程
艰难险阻  坎坷不平
汶川大地震  天塌地陷
我们心手相连  众志成城
凝聚大爱  彰显人性
迎着朝阳  城建美好的家园
披着霞光  攀登科学的高峰
中华民族重铸伟业  不可战胜

Sonnet XI        
Written by zgob   
i now declare no longer i'll love you
as my heart's passion lies in stat and math
love for love's sake will render nothing new
except a heavy sigh along my path
however cold and cruel my act may seem
my dedication to pure truth will yield
to no mundane love and no earthly dream
and don't forget the wound will soon be healed
in other world if there is ever one
i pray you will create my life's design
but now our separate paths have begun
you'll find your love which is as dear as mine
a man must follow where his heart will lead
if not then life is dull and future dread
